Description
Samson, a cute adoptable Black Labrador dog, found himself without a home for the
holidays when his family had a baby and they chose to give him up and brought him to
The Anti-Cruelty Society, Chicago’s only open door shelter. (They never turn any animal away).
Believing in the human heart & spirit, The Anti-Cruelty Society and “Samson”, participated
in a Jazz Nativity for people and pets at Saint Luke’s Church, 1500 W. Belmont Avenue
in Chicago—which led to Pastor Dave Abrahamson turning Samson’s story into a
happy holiday tale (& tail)! Pastor Dave, adopted Samson and Samson, is now living with
a very large family. He moved into Saint Luke Renaissance – Greenview Place,
1501 W. Melrose (Melrose and Greenview, 1 block east of Ashland and north of Belmont)
Pastor Dave will be his dog walker and 12 current residents, plus up to 107 total
apartment residents, plan to be his friends & family at this brand new supported
living community. Tags
