Already serving over 10,000 pets a year, Chicago Veterinary Emergency Services (CVES)… announced it will be going 24 hours/7 days a week for emergency care beginning Saturday, October 17 to fill pet owners’ growing needs. Often handling over 30 pet emergencies each night, the expanded hours allow CVES to serve as a partner to Chicago’s veterinarian community and pet owners, providing intensive care services every hour, every day. Serving Chicago’s pet owners and veterinarians for over 30 years, CVES provides the highest quality and most efficient care possible for pets. In 2010, CVES will open a new round-the-clock, state-of-the-art facility, more than double the size of its current space! The new three-story, 15,754-square-foot CVES building will be equipped with high-tech diagnostics, including an MRI and CT scan suite. An updated surgical room, extended treatment and procedure areas, additional intensive care units and exam rooms, plus an expanded lobby are planned.
