Catholic Charities Junior Board 9th Annual Charities Royale Casino Night

Take a chance….on Saturday, November 7, 2015 Catholic Charities of The Archdiocese of Chicago’s Junior Board will host the 9th Annual Charities Royale Casino Night at Revel Downtown in the heart of Chicago. From 7:30-11:30 p.m. some of Chicago’s most philanthropic young professionals will enjoy an evening of gaming tables, hors d’oeuvres and a premium open bar all with Royale Casino feel.


The Harris Theater is humbled to open their 2015-16 season with AXIS Dance, the premiere physically integrated dance company consisting of artists with and without disabilities. Not only is this the first performance of the new season, but this company will kick off both the new MIX at SIXseries and the popular Exelon Family Serieswith performances on Thursday, October 8 at 6PM and Saturday, October 10 at 2PM, respectively.

Jacob Whitesides Added to Cast of PAUL MITCHELL SHALL WE DANCE ON ICE

The US Cellular Coliseum, Disson Skating, and Radio Disney are pleased to announce the addition of 17-year-old singer-songwriter, Jacob Whitesides, to the star studded cast of Paul Mitchell Shall We Dance on Ice coming to Bloomington on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.  This previously announced event will showcase a journey of dance through the ages with both dancing and skating, enhanced by music and special effects to create an elegant production on the ice.

The Orion Ensemble, winner of the prestigious Chamber Music America/ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming, welcomes guest harp virtuoso Ben Melsky, a member of the highly acclaimed Ensemble Dal Niente and principal harpist for the Joffrey Ballet and Ann Arbor Symphony, for his Orion debut on a program of 20th century music, "Harp Fantasy." Performances take place at First Baptist Church of Geneva November 22; the Music Institute of Chicago's Nichols Concert Hall in Evanston November 29; and the PianoForte Studios in downtown Chicago December 2.

The Northern Illinois University Convocation Center, Disson Skating and Radio Disney are pleased to announce Hollywood Records recording artist and popular actress Olivia Holt and MAX as the special guest artists who will perform in the “Colgate Skating & Gymnastics Spectacular” coming to DeKalb on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.  This previously announced event will showcase the most decorated dance team in U.S.

Dozens of programs for Wabash Arts Corridor Crawl on Oct. 23, 2015

The Wabash Arts Corridor (WAC), an initiative of Columbia College Chicago, will come to life on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015 from 4-10 p.m. for the third annual WAC Crawl. The free public event is centered along Wabash Avenue from Van Buren to Roosevelt and showcases the cultural assets of the district, with dozens of programs ranging from live music stages and dance performances to interactive art and area restaurant and bar specials throughout the evening.
