Mayor Bradley A. Stephens today announced that the Village of Rosemont will host a job fair Feb. 19–21 for Chicago-area residents seeking positions at venues opening this spring in The Park at Rosemont. Approximately 250 full-time and part-time employees are needed to staff Adobe Gila's Margarita Fajita Cantina, Five Roses Pub, Kings Lanes & Lounge and Zanies Comedy Night Club. The job fair will be presented at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, 5555 N. River Road, First Floor Ballroom. Hours are as follows: Sunday, Feb. 19, 11 a.m.–5 p.m.; Monday, Feb. 20, 12–8 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2–10 p.m.

“The Park at Rosemont will not only provide visitors a great opportunity to relax and enjoy a great meal, it will, when completely open, provide more than more than 500 good jobs to residents in the greater Chicago area,” said Mayor Stephens. “This job fair is just the beginning. We look forward to hosting subsequent job fairs to staff up the Hofbräuhaus Chicago, Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill, Taverna Opa and the Park Tavern, all of which will be fully operational by mid-summer.”

The positions being filled include venue managers; servers, bartenders and hosts; cooks and kitchen support staff; and security and door personnel. Zanies is also hiring box office staff. Both part-time and full-time positions are available. Experience requirements vary by position.

The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center is easily accessible by car, with ample parking across the street in Village parking structures; job applicants will receive parking validation. Mass transit-users can reach the Convention Center via the Metra Commuter Rail (Rosemont Station), CTA Blue Line (Rosemont Station) or 19 nearby bus routes.
